Quickie Book Review – Under A Spell by Hannah Jayne

Under A Spell (Underworld Detection Agency, #5)Under A Spell by Hannah Jayne

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Once again, I’ve started a series mid-stream… but unlike other books, I didn’t get lost while reading this one. Would it have helped to read the others first? Sure. But it didn’t hurt as much this time.

I really enjoyed this book, despite not having all the back story. The characters were so well done they practically climbed off the page with their quirky selves. The suspense-filled plot of this book was spot-on and the under-worldly aspects were well-done and inventive.

The world-building was great and I loved the overall premise of this series, and will most certainly go back and start from book one to relish in the whole series!

**I received a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an unbiased review.
