Quickie Book Review – Forbidden Fruit by Ann Aguirre

Forbidden Fruit (Corine Solomon, #3.5)Forbidden Fruit by Ann Aguirre

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have to start by saying that I didn’t realize this was part of an ongoing series (but that’s not accurate either, since this seemed to be more of an off-shoot from the original series)and my lack of insight left me a little in the dark. AND it’s the reason I almost knocked it down to a 3-star review, because the novella didn’t feel like a complete work.

The uniqueness of the story line and the quirkiness of the main character was refreshing, the mystery compelling, and the heat factor was smoking hot.

In the end, I truly liked the characters and plotting too much to just give the book a “like” — and it’s not the author’s fault I’m a dunce and didn’t read the other books first.

So I’m giving it a qualified 4-star — but you really do need to read the other books first! Do as I say, not as I do! M’kay?
